MA Healthcare introduces new Library Advisory Board

MA Healthcare has announced the creation of a new Library Advisory Board, which will be holding its first meeting in early 2017.

The Board will provide MA Healthcare’s institutional subscribers with the opportunity to have an active involvement in the short and long-term developments relating to both the MA Healthcare content and the Mark Allen Group’s academic platform, the MAG Online Library.

Not only will the Board give librarians a say in strategic matters, it will also provide a forum for subscribers to give their feedback on titles and collections, and also on the requirements of end-users in their particular sectors.

Most importantly, says the company, the Board will assist MA Healthcare to ensure that their titles continue to remain highly-relevant to institutional end-users - both professionals and students - and make a valuable contribution to their work and education.

The Library Advisory Board will meet twice a year and will be made up of librarians representing UK and international subscribers, covering both the academic and healthcare sectors.
