Metro launch First Moves magazine

Metro has published a brand new magazine for urbanite home-owners and would be home-owners in the capital.

First Moves is planned to be the first in series of homes and interiors magazines for London.

The first issue of the magazine is a 32 page colour publication which will be an invaluable guide to shared ownership and getting a foot onto the home owning ladder, says the publisher.

300,000 copies of the magazine will be distributed in London between Tuesday and Friday this week. Half of the copies will be inserted into copies of Metro and half will be distributed by hand by merchandisers at key locations across London.

The magazine will include features, advice and tips for Londoners buying their first home – from choosing a solicitor and making an offer right through to the move itself.

Linda Grant, Managing Director, Metro, said: “As we move the Metro brand forward, and into new areas, it is exciting to launch the first in our new series of magazines. It’s an incredibly hard time for those trying to get on the first step of the property ladder. We know that many of our loyal urbanite readers are in this first-time buyer category and I’m confident this launch issue of First Moves will help buyers through this tricky process and offer advertisers the opportunity to connect with this key audience.”
