MOJO launches deluxe anthology edition

Bauer Media’s monthly music title MOJO is to launch a new strand ‘Deluxe Anthology Edition’ to its Collectors Series.

MOJO launches deluxe anthology edition
Pat Gilbert “David Bowie’s contribution to music and culture was – and continues to be – immeasurable.”

The ‘David Bowie Changes 1947-2016’ issue, on sale on Thursday 5 November, will be MOJO’s first ever omnibus special edition.

A 260-page volume, it’s printed on premium quality paper and more akin to a soft cover book rather than a magazine, say the publishers.

Inside, readers will find features and interviews, illustrated with dozens of iconic and rare images.

Pat Gilbert, who curated and edited the special issue, commented: “David Bowie’s contribution to music and culture was – and continues to be – immeasurable, a fact brought into sharp focus by his untimely death in 2016. Featuring fascinating features and interviews, illustrated with dozens of iconic and rare images, ‘Bowie Changes 1947-2016’ brings together MOJO’s much-prized ‘Changes 1947-1975’ and ‘Changes 1976-2016’ bookazines into one sumptuous, single-volume Deluxe Anthology Edition. Within its heavy card covers, Bowie’s story is unfolded with the unrivalled knowledge and passion of MOJO’s finest writers, while readers are also guided through the singer’s key albums and greatest songs. 'Changes 1947-2016' is an essential purchase for Bowie fans old and new.”

The issue will be priced at £11.99 and available on the newsstand and online on Thursday 5th November.

The next Deluxe Anthology Edition in the series, featuring The Beatles, will be on-sale 10th December.
