New editor for SHE Magazine

The National Magazine Company has announced the appointment of Claire Irvin, as the new Editor of SHE magazine.

Claire Irvin (pictured) has been Editor-at-Large at Grazia for the past 18 months. She has considerable experience in women's magazines having held senior positions at InStyle, Company, ELLEgirl and Sugar, and was also a former BSME Editor of the Year. Claire will join NatMag on 18 January.

NatMag’s Chief Executive, Arnaud de Puyfontaine says: “We are delighted that Claire has accepted the position of Editor of SHE Magazine. Her experience and inherent understanding of the women’s magazine market is invaluable - Claire knows what magazine readers want from their favourite brands and how to deliver it and I’m confident she will take SHE to a new and exciting level.   I would also like to thank Sian for her excellent work on the magazine over the last three years and wish her well in her future projects”

Claire Irvin says: "I'm thrilled by the prospect of taking the SHE brand - and its dynamic readership! - into a new decade. Its readers are some of the most inspiring women in Britain - and I'm looking forward to developing their favourite magazine both on and beyond the page.”

Claire’s appointment comes as a result of the resignation of Sian Rees who has decided to move on to other projects.
