The first event took place at the British Library on 21 February.
Each event is a one-day masterclass featuring talks from leading scientists as well as the opportunity for the audience to meet and engage with the speakers during the day.
A further four, possibly five events are planned for 2015.
The first New Scientist Live - Instant Expert was called The Quantum World and included talks from six leading physicists, including Professor Jim Al-Khalili.
