In January, the Chair of the Press Distribution Forum, Grant Jordan, outlined his goal to introduce a fresh, more open platform that would give clearer awareness of retailer complaints and the management of them.
This week, the PDF has revealed the first steps to achieving this objective with the availability of monthly complaints data from all three wholesale companies; Menzies Distribution, Smiths News and DTR.
Grant Jordan said: “These new reports allow greater access for retailers and supply chain partners alike to review complaints at wholesale house level on a monthly basis. Performance metrics within the reports indicate how well each house is managing any complaints and the share by category for the 3 organisations.
The reports will be available from the Press Distribution Forum website from April.
