Porter appoints Sarah Bailey Executive Brand Editor

Based at Yoox Net-A-Porter Group’s London headquarters, Bailey will report to Lucy Yeomans, Editor-in-Chief of Porter magazine and Global Content Director of Net-A-Porter. Bailey’s appointment adds further authority to the Porter team and reinforces Net-A-Porter’s commitment to delivering world-class editorial as part of their unique content/commerce proposition, says Net-A-Porter. In her new position, Bailey will focus on the bi-monthly title, in addition to working closely with Yeomans on the overall editorial brand strategy and projects across print and digital.

A former Editor-in-Chief of Elle UK, Bailey spent nearly 10 years at Harper’s Bazaar in New York and London, where she served as Deputy Editor to Yeomans when she was Editor in Chief of the UK title. Most recently, Bailey was Editor-in-Chief at Red magazine.

“I am thrilled to join Net-A-Porter and to be working with Lucy Yeomans again. I have admired Porter since its launch, and I feel very excited to be able to bring my experience to this beautiful, intelligent, shoppable magazine; and to work closely with Lucy to grow the scope of this sumptuous, modern, super-compelling brand,” commented Sarah Bailey.

“Throughout her career, Sarah has demonstrated an excellent understanding of the international, stylish and well-informed woman, and her experience and authority in the fashion and beauty industries, not to mention her consummate leadership skills, will be a great asset to our already stellar team. Her strong relationships on both sides of the Atlantic will allow us to be even more ambitious editorially and take the Porter brand to greater heights. I am delighted to welcome her to the team,” commented Lucy Yeomans.
