PPA New Talent Awards 2016 – the winners

Haymarket Media Group is celebrating after being named the Best Media Owner for New Talent for the second year in succession.

The company retained the title at the 2016 PPA New Talent Awards, the industry’s celebration of the rising stars in UK magazine and business media, which was held at The Brewery on March 9.

A total of 16 awards were handed out at the ceremony hosted by Will Drew, Group Editor of The World's 50 Best Restaurants and Restaurant magazine.

Haymarket’s Rachel Barnes, Editor of Marketing magazine, triumphed in two categories, taking New Editor of the Year and also New Team Leader of the Year.

Hearst Magazines UK took home three awards and other winners on the night were: Dennis Publishing, Faversham House, Immediate Media Co., Redwood, Shortlist Media, The River Group, Time Inc. UK and UBM.

In the student categories, Marcin Bryszak of Bournemouth University was named Most Promising Student of the Year (Undergraduate) while Ellie Flynn of City University London was named Most Promising Student of the Year (Postgraduate).
