Retirement Planner launches responsive site

Retirement Planner has launched a new website dedicated to keeping advisers up to speed with the latest pension changes.

Pensions freedom, which begins on 6 April, is a game changer for retirement advice, says Incisive Media. The Retirement Planner site will provide retirement-focused content giving advisers all the essential information they need as they get to grips with the new pensions landscape.

The fully responsive site has been built using WordPress and will incorporate aggregated content from around the web using a tool called PublishThis.

The site will also feature articles from other Incisive Media titles including Professional Adviser and Professional Pensions.

The website launch follows a successful redesign of the Retirement Planner print title, including a new logo, which was published last week.

Publisher Kevin Sinclair said: “This will enable us to create a true hub of information for retirement planners/advisers, presenting views, analysis and opinion from a wide variety of sources.

“It has gone from an idea to reality in about a month, which is pretty impressive.”

Retirement Planner is the only brand dedicated to supporting financial advisers operating in the retirement space.

Set up in 2004 to help advisers get to grips with the massive change brought about by A-Day (pension tax simplification), Retirement Planner has since supported advisers through self-invested personal pension (SIPP) regulation, annuity reform, the Retail Distribution Review, auto-enrolment and now Pensions Freedom and Choice, says Incisive.
