Retro Gamer and GamesYouLoved join forces for strategic partnership

Retro Gamer, the retro games magazine, announces a strategic partnership with online retro community GamesYouLoved.

GamesYouLoved will use its extensive social media experience to bolster Retro Gamer's presence and overall reach on all social media channels, drive print & digital product sales, and will also offer its Twitter and Facebook fans discount subscription offers, say the company.

In return, Retro Gamer will provide a home for monthly GamesYouLoved articles in its print & digital edition, and will promote GamesYouLoved to its worldwide readers. GamesYouLoved will also sponsor one of Imagine Publishing's retro Bookazines as part of the deal. It's a unique partnership that will see huge benefit for both Retro Gamer and GamesYouLoved, as both brands look to combine their individual strengths.

"GamesYouLoved adores retro games as much as we do and already have a great presence within the community," said Darran Jones, Editor of Retro Gamer. "This is a great partnership that will please retro fans the world over."

"This is a very forward-thinking partnership and I can't wait to see the benefits", said Ryan King, Editor-in-Chief of videogames at Imagine Publishing. "We're already big fans of GamesYouLoved, so getting to work with them is exciting stuff!"

Chris Hill, founder of GamesYouLoved said of the partnership: "We are so excited about the partnership between Retro Gamer and GamesYouLoved. It's a perfect synergy between the world's most respected retro games magazine we have loved reading for many years, and the GamesYouLoved global community, where we have thousands of fans who are passionate about the subject. We hope to collaborate together to bring gamers the best of retro around the clock.”
