Smash Hits Take That Special

The legendary pop magazine returns for the second time this year, with a Take That special issue on sale Wednesday (Nov 18).

The Bauer Media magazine was last seen on the nation's newsstands with its Michael Jackson tribute issue in July.

The 84-page Take That special sees Barry McIlheney return as Editor-in-Chief. McIlheney, who was Editor during the magazine's most successful period in the late '80s, was also responsible for the Jackson one-off.

McIlheney commented: "Take That were the biggest thing in the Smash Hits world of the early '90s. It seems only right that we should salute them in the unique Smash Hits style."

Stuart Williams, MD of Bauer Media's Music & Film titles, added: "The return of Take That in 2006 heralded a huge resurgence in pop. There is no bigger act in the UK right now than Take That and we're delighted to be bringing everyone's favourite pop mag back for this very special issue. We're Back For Good!".

The Smash Hits Take That special issue will be priced at £2.50.
