Square Up Media launches FestivalBaby.com

Square Up Media, one of London's leading publishing and multimedia companies has launched FestivalBaby.com – a new global festival portal devoted to all things festivals.

The website aims to be the number one portal for festival lovers to find everything they need to know about the best music festivals around the world. The site features a comprehensive festival finder, daily competitions, original guides, top ten lists, festival reviews, and an interactive social media wall – #FestBaby – allowing festival goers to show off their latest pictures and videos.

FestivalBaby.com offers a unique platform for festival lovers to access essential information on the world’s best festivals – and for brands and the festivals themselves to connect with their core audience as never before, says Square Up Media.

The brand was born after Square Up Media identified a major gap in the market for an all-encompassing festival portal. This was something Jon Hawkins, head of content for FestivalBaby.com and editor of independent travel magazine Escapism, was surprised by: "The festival market, both in the UK and overseas, is booming – in the UK alone there were more than 700 music festivals last year. Yet no product exists that provides comprehensive guides to the best music festivals in the world, or enables brands to reach the millions of devotees who visit them. FestivalBaby.com was born to change all that…”

The website is estimated to attract around 60,000 monthly unique users within three months of launch and aims to become the largest festival site in the world by the end of its first year.

The next phase of the site will include a ticket sales platform and the curation of unique VIP packages.

To coincide with the launch, FestivalBaby.com is recruiting an official festival correspondent that they will send to some of the best UK festivals this summer.
