The Week launches financial spin-off magazine Prosper

Dennis Publishing has announced the launch of its new financial title, Prosper, which is sent out free of charge to over 150,000 UK subscribers to The Week.

Published twice a year, the magazine aims to provide a smart, intelligent and clear-cut personal investment guide to the world of finance and will be distributed alongside The Week. The launch issue features stories such as why the clever money is going into Japan, not China, how to pick yourself a private bank and the best way to invest in the current gold rush. The title has been produced in editorial association with MoneyWeek and is headed up by the title’s editor John Stepak.

Prosper has already attracted a high number of advertisers for its initial edition, with clients such as Neptune, Artemis, Fidelity International, HSBC and J.P. Morgan.

Kerin O’Connor (pictured), Managing Director of The Week, comments: “We are delighted to diversify our editorial offering to The Week’s readers by launching Prosper. With so much financial information out there, sifting out the right insights and working out the best advice can be hard at the best of times. Prosper has been developed to provide smart, relevant and profitable editorial for our growing army of wealthy readers”.

Prosper’s Spring / Summer edition will be available this month, with another to follow in Autumn 2010.
