Time Inc. UK announces Senior Appointments

Time Inc. UK yesterday announced the appointments of Charlie Meredith as Transformation director and Sam Finlay as managing director, Advertising.

Both take up their roles with immediate effect, reporting to CEO, Marcus Rich.

Charlie will work to accelerate the development and implementation of Time Inc. UK growth initiatives both organic and acquisitive. The role is newly-created and is one of the key appointments in Time Inc. UK’s transformation into a contemporary cross-media network.

Charlie has worked across Time Inc. UK in number of senior roles, including MD of the TV entertainment brands, MD of central operations, and for the past five years, MD of Time Inc. UK Advertising.

Taking over that role, Sam will lead the cross-discipline sales teams for Time Inc. UK's portfolio of over 60 multi-platform brands. Focused on developing the company’s commercial partnerships further, Sam will be responsible for the central sales operation, including the agency, client, category, digital, creative media, content, insight and brand sales teams.

Sam joined the business in 1995 and held a number of advertising roles prior to his appointment as advertising director for the men’s and music titles in 2004. For the past six years, Sam has been the head of Digital Advertising, leading the online and mobile sales teams, and last year was promoted to head of Digital Advertising & Custom Solutions, taking additional responsibility for creative media and content sales.
