Time Out appoints Rob Biagioni

Time Out has announced that Rob Biagioni will join as managing director sales UK as the business strengthens its media division.

Time Out, has announced that Rob Biagioni joins as managing director sales UK. Rob will oversee all of the advertising platforms which Time Out Media offers brands and businesses including media sales, creative solutions, programmatic, live events, local marketing solutions and ecommerce, says the publisher. Based in London, he will lead the commercial teams within the UK Time Out Media business in order to drive further growth through bespoke solutions for a wide client base and to evolve Time Out’s advertising business centred on a digital-first strategy.

According to the publisher, Rob brings a wealth of experience: most recently, he was commercial director at Future plc, responsible for the sales team and trading agreements across agencies and key clients; in this role, he was also involved in the company’s ongoing transition from print to digital. Before that, he was TI Media’s group client director with responsibility for all revenue streams across more than 18 media brands. He has also held senior commercial roles at John Brown Media, City AM, Express Newspapers and others.

Rob reports to Stacy Bettman who recently became Time Out Media president, North America & UK to lead the commercial and content teams across these two regions, the publisher continued. Based in New York, Stacy has been with the company since 2018 and previously held the role of president, Americas, leading the North America commercial team through a transformation to a successful revenue-driving digital-first proposition. With Stacy leading North America and the UK, Tim Webb — based in London — earlier this year assumed the role of managing director, Media Europe, APAC & Franchise to lead the Time Out Media business in these regions as well as the franchise network. Tim joined in 2014 to expand the franchise network and was responsible for Time Out in APAC following the takeover of the franchise businesses in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore in 2017. Both Stacy and Tim report to Chris Ohlund, Time Out Group’s CEO.
