Under the partnership the Yudu digital publishing platform will be fully integrated within emagine, enabling magazine or catalogue pages to be produced for print, e-magazine, i-Pad, i-Phone apps and other mobile platforms simultaneously, via a seamless production workflow.
emagine is fast becoming the de-facto industry standard, says Wyndeham, for creating and producing magazine publications, with over 2000 users and 300 magazines created through the system. emagine’s comprehensive and unique range of features enables publishers to create, manage and deliver every aspect of their titles through a single integrated system, offering significant time and cost savings and complete control of the production process.
emagine users will be able to utilise the entire suite of Yudu self-publishing functions to create digital publications within the existing emagine workflow. Publishers also have the opportunity to add additional functionality and content to suit the new generation of viewing tablets, with assets managed and stored in the emagine database. Publishing teams can seamlessly produce both the printed and digital magazine versions within a single environment, with PDF’s automatically sent to the printer and digital versions delivered at the push of a button.
