Elle appoints Creative Director

Elle, Hearst’s fashion media brand, has announced the appointment of Tom Meredith as Creative Director of Elle UK.

Tom has an established relationship with Elle and has worked in consumer-magazine publishing for more than 12 years. He began his career as a Designer at Harper’s Bazaar UK, before moving to Elle UK, where he rose to Acting Creative Director. Tom also art directed the relaunch and redesign of the biannual fashion magazine, Elle Collections, and art directed the cover shoots for many of Elle’s iconic covers.

In 2012, Tom became the Creative Director of InStyle UK, before moving to Paris to redesign the biannual Special Mode issue for Elle France. He went on to become Creative Director of the title and continued to work for the Elle international team as Consultant Creative Director. He has also worked as a Freelance Creative Director for other notable media and fashion clients including Glamour (UK, France & Germany) and MatchesFashion.com.

He is extremely talented and has played a fundamental role in the development of the brand. I can’t wait to work with him to implement new concepts for the magazine.”

Tom commences his role on 8 May.
