Glamour launches podcast series

Glamour has announced the launch of ‘Glamour Presents: Hey It’s OK’, a podcast series created in collaboration with podcasting platform Acast.

Based on the eponymous column that appears in the magazine, each podcast will be led by Glamour’s editor-in-chief Jo Elvin, a celebrity guest and Glamour staffers.

Episode one features Emma Willis, episode two stars Rochelle Humes with further celebrity guests including Claudia Winkleman, Caroline Flack, Rylan Clark-Neal and vlogger Louise Pentland in episodes to follow.

Jo Elvin, editor of Glamour says: "I’ve been wanting to do a Glamour podcast for some time now and I’m delighted to partner with Acast to make it happen. Every week, Glamour editors and a celebrity guest will discuss, dissect and debate exactly the sort of stuff we talk about in the office. Listeners will be eavesdropping on a virtual Glamour features meeting - the thought-provoking, opinionated, controversial and funny topics we chat through every day when deciding what to feature in the magazine and online."

Måns Ulvestam, CEO of Acast adds: “This podcast not only reaffirms Glamour’s status as a leading fashion and lifestyle publication, but it also shows how much the magazine looks after its readers. As one of the fastest growing mediums out there, podcasting will allow Glamour to both reach new people, and entertain pre-existing fans. It’s been a pleasure helping them develop such a high-quality and amusing show, and we hope that this is the start of a long and illustrious podcasting career for the publication!”

The podcast can be accessed here via Acast and on iTunes.
