Glamour to launch in Turkey

Glamour will be launched in Turkey in Spring 2016, it was announced yesterday by Jonathan Newhouse, Chairman and Chief Executive of Condé Nast International.

The magazine will be published under a licence agreement with Dogus Media Group, who publish the Turkish editions of Vogue, GQ and Condé Nast Traveller. Glamour Turkey will be the eighteenth global edition.

“Condé Nast is pleased to announce the launch of Glamour in Turkey. With its start of a new title in Istanbul, Glamour extends its influence as the dominant print and digital brand reaching young women," commented Newhouse.

Karina Dobrotvorskaya, President of Condé Nast New Markets, added “With the success of Vogue, GQ and Condé Nast Traveller already fulfilling a need in the Turkish media market, the addition of Glamour will forge strong relationships, meeting the demands of the younger female audience.”

Glamour will be edited by Ozge Sarikadilar, currently Managing Editor of Vogue Turkey. Glamour currently has seventeen international editions including the US, Italy, Mexico, Latin America, Germany, Britain, Spain, Poland, France, Hungary, South Africa, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, The Netherlands, Brazil and Iceland, with a monthly global readership of over 23 million, and 19 million online unique users, says Condé Nast International.
