Launch: BBC Andy’s Amazing Adventures Magazine

Immediate Media Co announces the launch of BBC Andy’s Amazing Adventures magazine, today, 10th February, aimed at “little explorers”.

Based on the hit CBeebies series’ Andy’s Wild Adventures, BBC Andy’s Amazing Adventures and the upcoming Andy’s Prehistoric Adventures, it is aimed at a preschool readership of children aged 3-6, with a usual cover price of £2.75.

According to Immediate Media Co: BBC Andy’s Amazing Adventures has been developed in collaboration with the BBC Natural History Unit and is perfect for little ones who love dinosaurs and wild wonderful animals. Full of fun and facts, it’s the only children’s magazine in the market that focuses on popular character Andy and his super-secret adventures. Andy, described as ‘the pre-schooler’s David Attenborough’ is highly trusted by parents and the show can help to answer their mini-zoologist’s questions. Children can travel along with their favourite explorer as he jumps into his magic clock to visit the lost world of the dinosaurs or zooms across the globe to meet fabulous creatures.

Editor, Ruth Cassidy says: “BBC Andy's Amazing Adventures magazine takes little explorers on an exciting journey to discover incredible dinosaurs and wonderful wild creatures from all around the world. Developed in collaboration with the BBC Natural History Unit and based on the popular CBeebies shows, the magazine is packed with stickers, astonishing facts, fun and just a little magic and danger as readers travel through space and time to get up close to some fabulously fierce friends! Andy is the preschooler’s David Attenborough and his curiosity and enthusiasm for creatures great and small will inspire a whole generation of little animal experts.”
