Launch: Build-A-Bear Workshop Magazine

Following the success of the Build-A-Bear Workshop themed issue of Girls Love magazine, which sold out in all UK Build-A-Bear Workshop stores, Signature Publishing has announced the launch of the standalone Build-A-Bear Workshop magazine.

The magazine launch is timed to coincide with Build-A-Bear Workshop celebrating the company’s 20th birthday with exciting expansions into toys and other licensing categories, and now over 12.2 million UK loyalty members, says Signature Publishing.

Amanda Clifford, Signature’s Editorial Director said, “A visit to a Build-A-Bear Workshop store has to be on the top of every child’s wish list, so we’re so excited to publish a magazine dedicated to this iconic brand. Build-A-Bear Workshop magazine is the perfect partner for Build-A-Bear Workshop, and it’s a joy to bring these furry friends to life on the printed page!”

“We are incredibly grateful to the children and families who have helped Build-A-Bear Workshop reach our 20th Birthday year,” said Jennifer Kretchmar, chief product officer, Build-A-Bear Workshop. “As we continue the celebrations this year, the launch of Build-A-Bear Workshop magazine from Signature Publishing will help bring our brand to life for children in new ways while continuing to inspire imagination and creativity.”

Aimed at children aged 6-12, every issue comes with “awesome gifts and is packed with furry fun, including puzzles, posters, colouring and lots more!” On the newsstands from 29th March, the launch issue comes with a bespoke bear to dress up, plus a set of badges.

Build-A-Bear Workshop magazine is a bi-monthly title priced at £3.99, edited by Julie Patten and produced by Signature Publishing. The magazine is available at UK Build-A-Bear Workshop stores, and at supermarkets and newsagents. The magazine is distributed by Seymour Distribution.
