Launch: Sleepy Hollow Magazine

Sleepy Hollow Magazine, a new quarterly title from Titan Publishing Group, is a comic based on the popular television series. It goes on sale on 27 November, priced £4.99.

According to distributors COMAG: Based on Washington Irving’s classic story of the same name from 1820, Sleepy Hollow is a U.S. supernatural police drama, which is currently being shown on TV in the UK.

In 1781, Ichabod Crane was a soldier in the Colonial Army of George Washington who kills the Headless Horseman at exactly the same time as the legendary villain kills him.

Linked by this cosmic connection, when the Headless Horseman is reincarnated more than 230 years later as the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse (Death), Crane also rises from the grave.

Set in modern day Sleepy Hollow in New York, the TV show follows the police investigation of the Headless Horseman who is killing people in the town, including Sherriff August Cobin.

A fish out of water, the resurrected Ichabod Crane has an 18th century mind-set, so much of the story of Sleepy Hollow is his reaction to the modern world, especially his interactions with lead police investigator Lieutenant Abbie Mills, Sheriff Cobin’s protégé and partner.

Aimed at fans of the popular TV programme as well as people interested in supernatural dramas, Sleepy Hollow Magazine is the official title to accompany the show.

Featuring behind-the-scenes secrets from the TV show based on the U.S. literary classic, every issue of Sleepy Hollow Magazine has interviews with cast and crew, the lowdown on how the show is put together, exclusive artwork, photography from the set and much more.

With 100 pages, issue No.1 of Sleepy Hollow Magazine will have an exclusive interview with Tom Misen (the actor who plays Ichabod Crane), great photos and all the facts about the character, including his friends and enemies.
