Mayor of London to open WIRED LIVE 2017

WIRED has announced that Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London will open WIRED LIVE 2017.

Sadiq Khan joins an agenda featuring more than 50 speakers including Margrethe Vestager, EU commissioner of competition, 2016 Formula One world champion Nico Rosberg, and Jimmy Wales, Founder of Wikipedia and WikiTribune.

The Mayor will speak about London’s place as a world leading hub of innovation and how City Hall is attracting investment, supporting growth – especially for start ups – and broadening access to digital skills opportunities.

Sadiq Khan will be speaking on Thursday November 2 at 08.50.

Bringing the WIRED world to life, WIRED LIVE takes place on November 2 and 3 at Tobacco Dock in London, UK. The annual flagship innovation festival will showcase influencers who are changing the world and challenging the status quo, plus the latest technology and innovative products to experience in the WIRED Test Lab, says Condé Nast.
