MVP to publish luxury shopping guides

Premier Tax Free has partnered with leading publisher of tourist media, Morris Visitor Publications (MVP), to create a series of luxury shopping guides for Europe as part of a new approach to interacting with high-net-worth international shoppers.

Launching initially in London, Paris and Germany in summer 2015, Premier Luxury Shopping Guides are designed to connect high-spending non-EU visitors to retailers in each of these markets, and to provide a better understanding of how and where to shop Tax Free. Distributed on inbound flights, VIP lounges, 5-star hotels and the most exclusive location hotspots, the guides will promote a fashion-forward city experience - connecting Tax Free shoppers with up-to-the-minute trends and the most desirable brands.

Premier Tax Free, specialists in Tax Free shopping and international credit card processing, works with over 150,000 retailers worldwide and process more than 10,000,000 transactions from international shoppers each year. The company knows only too well the importance of connecting retail brands to affluent shoppers, says MVP.

The guides will also be available to download via a multi-lingual app. Raoul Defant explains: “Our new luxury guides will go beyond print and the web. We will bring each issue to life via a fully interactive, multi-lingual magazine app for tablets. All of the content will translate into an engaging touchscreen experience, an approach that truly allows our brands to reach even more international shoppers.”

Content from the magazines will be promoted through the social media pages of regional opinion formers and bloggers in key source markets, with the aim of ensuring Premier Luxury Shopping Guides are introduced to existing worldwide fashion and shopping conversations, and become must-reads for international shoppers travelling to Europe.

With visits from key markets such as China and the Middle East forecast to grow even faster, the launch of this network of European Luxury Shopping Guides is a timely addition to Premier Tax Free’s marketing portfolio and its commitment to connecting their retail brands to high net worth international shoppers.
