Olive Magazine launches website

olive magazine, the food monthly, has launched a new website featuring its trademark “easy but impressive” recipes, alongside restaurant and travel features and reviews.

olivemagazine.com contains over 10 years of imaginative, triple-tested recipes from olive magazine from quick and easy, healthy and family; to baking and desserts, entertaining and one pot dishes – providing inspiration for every occasion. According to the publishers, ‘best-ever chocolate cakes’ and ‘healthy pastas’ are proving popular, along with quirkier collections such as ‘deep fried things’ and ‘blow your cheese gasket’.

The site also has the best of olive’s restaurant and travel features written by on the ground food experts including reviews by contributors Tom Parker Bowles and Marina O’Loughlin.

Updated daily, olivemagazine.com includes useful how-to videos, food trends, gadget reviews and an exclusive video interview with Heston Blumenthal on his love of mixing sound with food, as in his famous 'sound of the sea' dish. Plus opinion-led pieces by Rhodri Marsden and Tony Naylor, from this year’s most ridiculous Valentine’s Day foods to what makes the perfect pub.

Simon Carrington, olive’s Publisher, said: “The launch of olivemagazine.com continues the development of olive as multi-platform brand proposition. With 70% of our audience now accessing our content via their smartphones we have made it easier than ever for them to get the best recipes and keep up with the latest food trends, restaurant and travel reviews.”

Mobile optimised, olivemagazine.com was created by Immediate Media’s Development Team, continuing the brand’s development across multiple platforms. In the past year olive has seen the launch of a brilliant new interactive app, was named Food & Drink Magazine of the Year at the Digital Magazine Awards, launched a hugely successful blog and substantially grown its social media following, says Immediate Media, and the olive brand now reaches over 500,000 readers a month via print, online and social media.
