Vogue Festival dates announced

The Vogue Festival returns this year, taking place over the weekend of 25th and 26th April, it was announced yesterday.

It is the fourth consecutive year British Vogue has hosted the event and will be in partnership with Harrods for the second time.

Alexandra Shulman, Editor of British Vogue commented, “We’re looking forward to welcoming our readers again, giving them the chance to see, hear and meet some of those whose work is seen in the pages of Vogue, and take part in fashion and beauty experiences, as well as engage with the Vogue team. The support of Harrods for a second year is helping us make this event bigger and better than ever before.”

Chiara Varese, Director of Harrods CRM & Personal Shopping Services remarked, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Vogue in 2015, for the second time. The Vogue Festival has become a key event in our customer’s fashion calendar and this year promises to be even more exciting. There is a natural affinity between our two brands, and we’re looking forward to working with Vogue to deliver a unique, innovative experience.”

One of several new additions to the programme in 2015 will be career masterclasses. With very limited places, these classes will include the opportunity for one on one face time with leaders in their respective fields of the fashion industry. There will also be an experiential Beauty Hall, together with interactive styling events.

This year the Festival will be held at the Royal College of Art, with additional activities taking place at the Royal Geographical Society, located two minutes walk away in Kensington, SW7.

The Vogue Festival will once again offer attendees the chance to see and hear from leading international designers, photographers, models, and writers in the industry. Festival goers will also have the opportunity to get involved in discussions on some of the fashion industry’s most interesting and timely issues, as well as enjoying a range of workshops, makeovers, performances, and other activities.

Last year, the two-day extravaganza included Alexa Chung, Grayson Perry, Luella Bartley, Nick Knight, Phoebe Philo, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Sarah Burton and Valentino Garavani.

Details regarding speakers can be found in the coming weeks at www.vogue.co.uk/voguefestival or follow @BritishVogue and the #VogueFestival hashtag on Twitter. Tickets will go on sale in March 2015.
