Woman’s Weekly unveils Queen’s 90th Birthday Special Issue

Woman’s Weekly has unveiled a commemorative souvenir issue The Queen at 90 as part of its classic series collection, celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday.

The 100-page special hits newsstands on 25 February, making it one of the first to market and will be on sale for 10 weeks, says Time Inc UK. Priced at £4.99, the issue will also be distributed in Spain, Australia, Canada and other countries with an interest in the British monarchy.

The Queen at 90 celebrates her life and legacy, focusing on the enormous changes throughout her life and the monarchy during her ninety years. The issue honours the legacy of our longest serving monarch with fascinating features and captivating visuals, say the publishers. Features include an insight into the royal household and the people who make it possible for the Queen to fulfil her role, an examination of the part she plays in the hundreds of charities she supports and commentary from royal experts on the future of the monarchy.

Diane Kenwood, editor of Woman’s Weekly, says: “Her Majesty’s 90th birthday is a national celebration that has captured the public’s imagination. We wanted to mark the occasion by creating a stunning, commemorative issue capturing her ninety years and focusing on the legacy she inherited and will leave behind, that readers can enjoy and keep. The magazine covers everything from a decade-by-decade showcase of her fabulous fashion sense to ideas and recipes for throwing a street party. I’m thrilled with the result and I’m sure readers will be too.”
