Future expands digital offering with first e-books

Future has expanded its digital portfolio with the launch of two new e-books: Computer Arts Presents: The Designer’s Guide to Going Freelance and Your Family Tree: Skeletons in the Cupboard.

As the first e-book to be published by Future, Your Family Tree: Skeletons in the Cupboard, is a collection of over 70 real-life reader stories. Unearthed by readers of Future’s leading genealogy magazine, Your Family Tree: Skeletons in the Cupboard is an exciting and interesting look into what can be discovered when we delve back through the depths of time.

The second e-book, Computer Arts Presents: The Designer’s Guide to Going Freelance covers everything you need to know to forge a successful career as a creative professional. From the expert team behind the Computer Arts brand, Future’s new e-book is an essential read for the modern designer.

Both books are currently available online on the Kindle and The Designer’s Guide to Freelance is also available at the iBooks store. The Designer’s Guide to Going Freelance is priced at £7.99 and Your Family Tree: Skeletons in the Cupboard retails at £4.99.

Stuart Anderton, Group Publishing Director, says: “We’re always looking for ways to expand our digital offering, and we’re dedicated to building our online portfolio. These e-books give consumers another way to access our expert content and engage with their subject matter. These are the first of many planned e-books from Future and we hope our customers will really enjoy reading them.”

Future is a leading digital publisher with 88 titles currently available as online editions via Zinio. T3, Future’s premium gadget magazine, is one of the best-selling online magazines and now sells 15,000 digital editions each month, with that number continuing to grow, says the company.
