GamesRadar releases Cheats and Guides App

Future, the special-interest media group, has announced the launch of its GamesRadar iPhone/iPod Touch App – ‘GamesRadar Cheats and Guides’.

A global brand, GamesRadar.com, is one of the largest and most popular video game enthusiast sites in the world, currently reaching 5,160,274 unique users each month globally according to latest SiteStat figures.

Developed by GamesRadar’s US team, and available across both the US and UK sites, the ‘GamesRadar Cheats and Guides’ app places GamesRadar’s massive content library directly in the hands of gamers. The application allows users to search for their favourite games and find the answers they need while they play.

James Binns Publisher of GamesRadar said: “this is the best games cheats app on the iPhone, it’s free, comprehensive and easy to use. This is GamesRadar keeping ahead of the game. Go get it!”

For more than five years, GamesRadar editors on both sides of the Atlantic have worked together with millions of passionate readers to develop the comprehensive strategy guides, mission-by-mission breakdowns, screenshots, walkthroughs and cheats featured in GamesRadar Cheats and Guides.

The app contains nearly 60,000 different cheats, guides and FAQs for more than 8,600 unique games, ranging from PlayStation-era classics to new releases such as Call of Duty: Black Ops and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. ‘GamesRadar Cheats and Guides’ delivers all of this content to the iPhone/iPod touch for free, blowing away similar, paid apps that only have a small fraction of GamesRadar’s content offering.

According to the publishers, GamesRadar Cheats and Guides is easy to use, giving users the ability to browse top games or search by title through the cheats, guides and FAQ database. Gamers are also encouraged to save the cheats and guides they use the most to a favourites list, reducing any downtime while playing.

Users are rewarded with one of five unique badges for frequent use of the application, allowing them to view their ranking according to the number of times a user opens the app, views a cheat, or adds a cheat to their favourites.
