PressReader adds Le Devoir to all of its Channels

PressReader, a world leader in multi-channel newspaper and magazine content distribution, announced the addition of prominent independent French-Canadian newspaper Le Devoir to its catalogue.

One of the largest independent newspapers in Québec and in Canada, Le Devoir is now available on all of PressReader's channels, including the PressReader app, its online service PressReader.com, and Print-on-Demand.

Over the years, PressReader has gained and maintained its position as the leading digital kiosk in the Canadian market, and it is the largest source of full-content newspapers and magazines in the world, says the company. By joining the network, Le Devoir has the ability to reach a large and established base of readers through PressReader's extensive consumer and business channels.

"Adding Le Devoir to our catalogue is a significant win for PressReader and for our readers," said Nikolay Malyarov, VP of Publishing and Legal Affairs at PressReader. "Our company has had tremendous growth over the years and the French-Canadian market is an important and loyal audience. Le Devoir has been one of our most requested titles, and we are pleased to be able to give our readers access to this prominent and well-respected publication."

According to PressReader, its flagship products, PressReader and PressReader.com, deliver the most authentic newspaper and magazine reading experiences on PC, Mac, smartphones, tablets and eReaders, running iOS, Android, Windows 8 and BlackBerry 10 operating systems. PressReader's advanced technologies provide users with a revolutionary reading and engagement experience.

"Our partnership with PressReader marks an important step in our company's expansion throughout Canada and beyond," said Christianne Benjamin, VP of Business Development for Le Devoir. "We have a long and prestigious history as an independent news outlet in Quebec, and we look forward to the opportunity to go beyond our borders and reach out to readers throughout the world."

The Le Devoir partnership is one more step in PressReader's ongoing expansion, and this latest move supports the company's mission of providing the best and most comprehensive content to its business and consumer audiences.
