According to the publishers, Sun Savers members now have a “whopping £2million in their pockets as well as getting first pick on Superdays, £9.50 holidays and giveaways, with much more to come”.
The scheme launched in March in Scotland, and was rolled out to the rest of the UK in June.
The rewards club gives readers £5 cash for every 28 unique codes they enter from the newspaper and is, says News UK, part of The Sun’s value proposition “giving good stuff” back to readers.
Head of Loyalty Justine Salter said: “This milestone shows how popular Sun Savers has proved to be as we continue to offer real value to our readers. Our loyalest readers have enjoyed cash in their wallet and first picks on great giveaways, Superdays and £9.50 Holidays.
