Long is also a Sunday Times columnist, interviewer, and writer. She was awarded Comment Writer of the Year at the British Journalism Awards in 2022 and was a finalist in the Broadsheet Columnist of the Year category at the 2025 Press Awards. According to the publisher, her first restaurant review will appear in The Sunday Times Magazine on February 8. Her regular weekly column in the main newspaper continues as normal.

I look forward to offering an honest and insightful view of a fascinating and ever changing industry."
