InPublishing: Young Stationer's Prize 2014

The judges have announced the shortlist of the 2014 Young Stationers' Prize, awarded for achievement and promise in journalism, publishing, and any other trade of the Stationers' Company, to a recipient who will normally be under 40.

Anna McKane, a former Reuters journalist and long-time journalism lecturer at the City University, said, on behalf of the judges, 'that the overall standard is excellent, and those who do not win should know that they were part of a very strong field.'

The winner will be announced at an awards dinner at Stationers' Hall tonight, with the editor of Hansard as after-dinner speaker. The Prize trophy will be presented by the Master of the Stationers and Newspaper Makers, and was donated by the Pewterers' Company.
