August Media launches social media consultancy

Publishing agency, August Media, has established a social media consultancy.

August Media is already working on projects for existing clients IKEA and Butlins and has recently been working with Deloitte and KPMG.

One of the new projects is a month long TwitterOke competition, which has been launched for the Butlins Big Weekends brand. The Big Weekends are themed music events for over-18s, with live acts, held across all three Butlins resorts. Using the big names who will be performing, the campaign, which claims to be the first of its kind, encourages followers to respond to lyrics tweeted in songs and each correct answer is entered into a prize draw. The campaign has resulted in a huge influx of followers on the site with really positive feedback, says August Media.
