Bristol Post launches new Digital Edition

The Bristol Post announced yesterday that it has launched a new digital edition of its local newspaper.

Designed for the modern reader, the Bristol Post is looking to attract those people who consume local news in a digital format, says Local World.

This latest release sees a variety of subscription packages for readers to choose from. Options range from a complete digital subscription to a variety of digital and home delivery options enabling readers to choose how they consume their news.

Users are able to receive the latest local news at any time with the swipe of a page. It also updates automatically so users need not miss a thing.

Mike Norton, Editor of the Bristol Post, when referring to this latest development, said: “The Post’s digital edition is one of the most exciting developments in its 82-year history. The dual approach of the app is unique in newspapers – and gives readers the chance to enjoy The Post in an enhanced digital format or as a page-turner like the print edition. We are sure that, in a modern city like Bristol, this new edition will win us new readers.”

Sarah Pullen, Managing Director of the Bristol Post said: “In a world where people are hungry for content at their fingertips, the new Bristol Post digital edition helps users to keep up to speed with news, sport and what’s on in Bristol. The app is interactive and simple to use.”

The digital app was developed by Miles 33's VirtualCom Interactive division.
