COMAG and iSUBSCRiBE enter online subscription deal

COMAG has announced that it has outsourced the hosting and management of its consumer facing websites, Magazine Café and Wait and Read, to iSUBSCRiBE.co.uk, the online magazine and newspaper subscription superstore.

The new arrangement will provide an enhanced consumer experience that offers subscriptions, subscription packs and single copy sales across all market sectors. Magazine Café’s customers can now subscribe to a further 2,500 UK titles, and visitors to iSUBSCRiBE.co.uk have access to an additional 1,000 foreign magazines.

COMAG, a leading third party newstrade distributor representing over 200 publisher clients both in the UK and around the world, has managed the websites separately for a number of years, Magazine Café focused predominantly on imported magazines and Gold Key Media’s Wait and Read on providing subscription packs to businesses.

As well as an extended range of magazines, the relaunched websites offer customers improved functionality, additional payment methods and the facility to order on smartphones via a mobile-enhanced platform.

Representing over 550 UK Publishers through direct contractual relationships and with a range of more than 2,500 consumer, business and specialist magazine titles, as well as newspapers, iSUBSCRiBE covers every magazine subscription genre from lifestyle and fashion, news and entertainment, to science and sport.

As well as an extensive array of magazines from abroad, iSUBSCRiBE’s product range also includes holiday brochures, retail catalogues and newspapers.

Steve Cripwell, Director of Supply Chain at COMAG said, “we are thrilled with the new site and delighted to be working with the iSUBSCRiBE team who bring huge expertise in web design and subscription marketing.”

Andrew Burge, CEO of iSUBSCRiBE said, “I am delighted that we are working with COMAG to develop its long term online magazine subscriptions solution. This relationship not only has clear benefits to both companies but will also extend beyond to iSUBSCRiBE’s other channel partners.”
