DTI named Progress Partner of the Year

Digital Technology International has announced that it has won Progress Software's Partner of the Year Award for the Americas region.

The Partner of the Year award is given to the Progress Software partner that demonstrate the highest levels of technology innovation, driving growth within its customers’ industry and participating highly within the Progress community.

“Progress is committed to the success of our partners, and encourages them to work closely with us on technical, marketing and business empowerment programs. We provide our partners with the combination of superior technology and award winning partner programs to help them create and deliver innovative business applications,” said Bob Palumbo, vice president of partner marketing for Progress Software. “The recipient of this year’s award has developed solutions that help solve complex business issues for their customers.  Their unique ability to combine Industry knowledge with our underlying technology is what makes the Progress Application Partner community so strong.”

DTI collaborates with strong businesses, such as Progress Software, to deliver the very best solutions for our media customers,” said Steve Nilan, vice president of marketing, DTI. “Our partnership with Progress has driven DTI Circulation to an industry-leading position measured in innovation and market share. The Partner of the Year award is testament to a partnership that works.”

Despite last year’s economic challenges, DTI has also announced that it ended the 2009 fiscal year meeting its revenue, profit and strategic goals.  Part of this success the company attributes to the roll-out of its solutions in a true cloud computing SaaS (software as a service) multi-user environment, providing its customers with the latest software without the need for capital expenditure, and whilst delivering an overall lower cost of ownership.  In addition, a number of multi-million dollar group-wide orders contributed to DTI’s growing global presence, including major orders from Australia, Canada, South America, the United States - as well as in Europe.

DTI is currently opening and staffing a new office in Norway in order to serve its growing customer base in Scandinavia.
