FourFourTwo delivers 24-hour coverage

The FourFourTwo.com team aim to deliver comprehensive, live online coverage of the Football World Cup in South Africa.

FourFourTwo.com’s rolling news service will keep fans informed around the clock. Writers on the ground in South Africa are seeking out unique stories, and its worldwide bloggers will capture reaction and analysis from Madrid to Melbourne, and Buenos Aires to Berlin.

For each match, FourFourTwo.com will provide live commentary online, with text enhanced by photos, videos, polls and reader comments.

A daily ‘breakfast’ email will round up the action and tell fans the things they ‘need to know’, and the website will run a new competition on every day of the World Cup.

Gary Parkinson, editor of FourFourTwo.com, thinks the site’s World Cup coverage will usher in “its coming of age”.

“There’s a shockingly large amount of stuff being uploaded: features on each team and analysis of every single player at the World Cup – 736 of them,” he says. “My team has done me proud, pulling out a week of midnight finishes. And it’s only just starting!”
