The Apps website can be found at www.knowyourapps.com and like the magazine, features reviews of the latest iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch apps across every category of the Apple iTunes Store.
The daily App of the Day review is written by App Magazine experts and offers an in-depth appraisal and rating of the latest iOS software, along with screenshots, info and the opportunity for readers to review and rate the app themselves.
The site also features the Top 100 Apps Ever feature from the magazine, which filters the 300,000 plus downloads available in the App Store to the top 5 contenders in each of the 20 categories, from Books to Music to Weather.
“Apps is a small but perfectly formed site that helps filter the hundreds of thousands of apps available down to the very best,” said Mat Toor, Head of Digital at Imagine. “The arresting visual design of the site echoes both the look and feel of the magazine while borrowing some key elements from the iOS interface and apps.”
The Apps site is currently in phase one of its launch and will expand over the coming weeks and months to carry more original material as well as user-generated and magazine content.
