Metro launches new sports betting service

Metro, the free urban national newspaper, this week launches a brand new sports betting service powered by FSB Technology integrated into its Fantasy Football game.

The new integrated sports betting system allows users to bet on both Premier League and Champions League football matches. The service will facilitate both pre-match and in-play betting live during games, which is one of the fast growing areas of the gaming industry. The product also allows users to invite friends and comment on their activity via Facebook.

Metro’s successful Fantasy Football game, which allows users to compete against each other for cash, has also been further improved.

Jamie Walters, Executive Digital Director at Metro said: “We‘ve done a lot of work to improve our offering in this area over the past couple of years. Building upon the success of our online casino brands we’re delighted to launch this new product.
