This year, The Newspaper Awards feature 20 categories designed to showcase the best in both printed and digital media. All the winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Tuesday 24 May at the London Hilton.
Gary Cullum, director of Newspaper Awards, says: “The 2011 Newspaper Award judges spent two days scrutinising well over 1,000 newspapers. Overall the standard was exceptional and just goes to prove that the quality of newspapers still sparkles despite a challenging economic environment.”
