Alan has extensive experience in Regional and National media, beginning his career at Grampian TV as an Analyst in 1987. He has held management positions for publishers including Southern Newspapers, Thomson Regional Newspapers, Mirror Group and TSL Education. As founder of leading consulting firm Ocean Strategy he has also advised many of the major media groups in the UK, Western and Eastern Europe.
In his management and consulting roles, Alan has focused on developing and implementing growth and turnaround strategies.
