PageSuite Publishing Associated’s Free Titles Online

From today, Monday 8 June, Metro UK, Metro Ireland, London Lite and 7Days will be published online by PageSuite.

It is hoped that the Associated Newspapers free digital editions will give their titles greater reach outside their traditional distribution areas. They also allow readers who have missed printed editions to catch up on the day’s news.

PageSuite claims to provide a complete digital publishing solution, offering unrivalled support and expertise, which is important in maintaining consistent delivery of quality newspapers. Associated’s digital editions have a bespoke landing page and a customised reader interface with PageSuite’s search, share and page-turn features.

Stuart Wood, Operations Director for Metro said: “Our electronic editions provide a convenient way of accessing our content. We are focused on delivering a first-class customer experience and PageSuite’s market-leading product helps us achieve that.”

“Digital editions increase reader involvement via rich media, flash animation and interactive content, providing new opportunities for both consumers and advertisers” Stuart Wood added.

Nathan Parrett, Managing Director for PageSuite commented “Our new search tool can be used on landing pages and across all archived editions. Content can be tagged and then shared through social networking and online communities.”
