Record month for Forbes.com

Forbes Media has announced that Forbes.com had another record-setting month in March, drawing 26.2 million unique monthly visitors worldwide according to comScore.

This represents an 11 percent gain from February 2013 and a 50 percent increase from March 2012, putting Forbes.com ahead of its competitive set, say the publishers. Since its reinvention, Forbes.com has achieved a 117 percent increase in unique monthly visitors from June 2010 to March 2013.

“These traffic metrics show a sustained period of improved performance and growth across Forbes.com,” said Charles Yardley, Forbes Media Managing Director of International and Publisher of ForbesLife magazine. “Month after month, the quality content our reporters and contributors produce, combined with the sophisticated Forbes.com platform and our social strategy, is helping drive record-setting traffic.”

According to Forbes, Forbes.com’s worldwide comScore ratings last month solidify its position among its competitors, surpassing WSJ.com, Time.com, Bloomberg.com, NationalGeographic.com, CNNMoney.com, BusinessWeek.com, CNBC.com, TheEconomist.com and FinancialTimes.com. Notably, Forbes.com outpaced WSJ.com by 1.5 million unique visitors.

In Europe, Forbes.com’s traffic in March 2013, according to comScore worldwide, grew to 3.5 million unique monthly visitors, an almost 14 percent increase from February 2013 and a 63 percent gain from March 2012. Forbes.com surpassed Bloomberg.com by 1.3 million unique visitors and outpaced Time.com, WSJ.com, FinancialTimes.com, TheEconomist.com, BusinessWeek.com and CNNMoney.com.
