Runner's World Launches First eBook

Runner’s World, the sport magazine from NatMag-Rodale, has launched its first-ever eBook for sale on Amazon’s Kindle and Apple devices, Runner’s World Coach.

Coach is a standalone magazine first launched on the newsstand in November 2010. The magazine, a beginner’s guide to running, is specifically designed in a Q&A format and which makes Coach highly suitable as a multi-platform product, say the publishers.

The digitalisation of Coach into an eBook, priced £4.99, marks part of an ongoing expansion of the Runner’s World brand across multiple platforms and follows the launch of Runner’s World magazine on Zinio (digital format).

Group Publishing Director Alun Williams say, “We’re constantly looking to build on the success of the Runner’s World brand and leverage our market share. Runner’s World has an extremely upmarket, tech savvy demographic to whom we are sure the electronic, portable format of Coach will appeal.”

NatMag’s Cosmopolitan magazine has also embraced the world of eBooks by digitalising some of its current book content. The eBooks, all priced at £4.99, span the world of sex and relationships and include the best of Cosmo readers’ secret confessions, confidence-boosting advice from worldwide experts and flirting and seduction techniques.

Consumers can purchase Runner’s World Coach via Amazon’s Kindle Store and Apple’s iBookstore, priced £4.99.
