The Telegraph unveils Rugby World Cup 2023 line up

The Telegraph has unveiled its team of rugby commentators and coverage plans ahead of the forthcoming 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.

The Telegraph says there will be expert opinion and insight across all platforms from the their team of pundits who include: former All Black and coach of the Lions, Wales and Ireland teams; Warren Gatland; England World Cup winner Will Greenwood; former Lions rugby international Brian Moore; Lions legend and Telegraph columnist Sir Ian McGeechan; England Women’s World Cup winner Maggie Alphonsi, plus former England player Chris Ashton, alongside The Telegraph’s award-winning sports journalists.

The Daily Telegraph last Saturday saw a special cover wrap of Sport for Irwin Mitchell, the official legal partner of England Rugby. It featured an exclusive interview with Danny Care celebrating his career defining 'moments that matter', plus a 12 page Rugby World Cup preview supplement, added the publisher.

The Telegraph says subscribers can have World Cup updates delivered to their inboxes via The Telegraph Rugby Newsletter which brings a behind the scenes look into the England camp ahead of and during the World Cup.

In addition, The Telegraph’s Rugby podcast will be available weekly from Tuesday throughout the tournament. Sponsored by Irwin Mitchell, the official legal partner of England Rugby, it will feature analysis of the games, teams and all the big talking points, with special guests.

Prior to the tournament, subscribers can use the Telegraph’s interactive Rugby World Cup predictor and follow Telegraph Sport’s experts as they count down the 100 best players in the world.
