Goodtoknow.com hits million mark

www.goodtoknow.co.uk, the online destination for mass-market UK women, has achieved one million monthly unique users for the first time on the back of the “highly successful” relaunch of its Recipes Channel.

The Connect website recorded 1,107,105 unique users for January 2010, with visitors totalling 1,230,513, generating a record 7,832,015 page impressions (Source: Omniture).

The new-look Recipes Channel was unveiled as a major new content pillar of Goodtoknow.co.uk in the autumn, with key elements including a database of over 4,700 recipes targeted to hard-working mums; a new video section, providing a step-by-step guide to creating the perfect family meals; a specially created suite of tools including ‘What’s in my fridge?’, which allows users to input the ingredients lurking in their fridge and get tasty meal suggestions; and a comprehensive Recipe Finder directory, providing quick access to recipes searchable by key ingredients, savoury or sweet, celebrity, cuisine style, meal time, diet and more.

Meanwhile a brand extension from the hugely successful www.goodtoknow.co.uk –  goodtoknow Recipes hit the newsstand in January priced £2.20. The food monthly targets busy mums aged between 25 and 44, providing them with cooking inspiration, plus tips and advice to feed their families cheaply, quickly and healthily. Its 100 pages will be packed full of recipes, in addition to weekly meal plans, quick solutions and offers.
