New economics blog on FT.com

The FT has announced the launch of the FT Money Supply blog.

FT Money Supply is a new economics blog on FT.com that focuses tightly on central bank and government economic policy. The blog will provide news, data and opinions on market-moving economics with insight from a highly experienced team, comprising chief correspondents for each region including FT economics editor Chris Giles; US economics editor and deputy Washington bureau chief Krishna Guha; and Frankfurt bureau chief Ralph Atkins.

Each experienced journalist has direct access to key figures in central banks and treasury departments and will offer unequalled insights into what the people who make the decisions are really thinking, says the FT. The blog will also include data, interactive graphics and videos on a range of related topics and has a global focus. Access to FT Money Supply blog will initially be free for users.
