In his new role he will work closely with the NFRN’s national executive committee, national council and senior management to help build on the NFRN’s achievements to date and shape the next stage of its development.
He said: “Since the announcement of my appointment I have been busy familiarising myself with Federation activity, including attending the recent Annual Conference. As a result I look forward to my new role with confidence.”
Mr Baxter has a wealth of retail experience, having held senior posts with leading retailers including Somerfield, Safeway and Sainsbury. In recent years he was a director for TM Retail and was commercial director for Alldays.
