Mike (pictured) has worked with Johnston Press for six years, progressing from Advertising Director of Sheffield Newspapers in 2005, to Managing Director of Halifax Courier in 2006 to his current position of Commercial Director of Yorkshire Post Newspapers in 2008.
Prior to this he worked as Managing Director of Buzz Media (a digital and database start up company), Managing Director for Real Radio in Yorkshire (part of the Guardian Media Group) in 2002 and Assistant Managing Director of Yorkshire Post Newspapers in 2001.
It is anticipated that Mike will join Northcliffe Media on Monday 5 September. Richard Duxbury (currently Deputy Managing Director) has been appointed acting Managing Director until Mike arrives.
